Welcome!

Dear Parishioners and friends:

As your Pastor I welcome each and everyone of you to our parish website. Our Parish is blessed with wonderful families, talented youth, and many organizations. We have seen so many changes taking place around our parish over the past few years.  From a rural past, we have developed into a large urban area. The number of homes has more than doubled over the past 10 years and this trend is set to continue for the foreseeable future.

On behalf of the Parish Community, I welcome each one of you , who have chosen the Parish of St.Mary of the Assumption as your home and I feel honoured to invite you to join in the spiritual life of the Parish.

I wish you the best in settling into our community and I welcome the variety of tradition and experience which you bring. I welcome and recommend any participation in any of the various aspects of the Community - Ministry of the Word, Ministry of the Eucharist, Senior Choir, Children's Choir, Children's Liturgy Youth Group, Altar Servers,,Parish Commitees etc -and hope  the experience will be most rewarding. A special invitation to our young parishioners of the area to visit our specialized web page and Facebook page for Youth. As a response to   changing times, we have set up the Parish Website as another means of communication, not only with our parishioners, but also with our many friends and relatives abroad. From humble beginnings we hope to expand the site in time to the extent that one should be able to access information on Baptism, Weddings, Funeral Notices,Weekly Notices, Bereavement etc.

Should you have any queries pertaining to our Parish or any recommendation on the development of the Website, feel free to contact myself, Fr Mathew Pendanathu or the Parish secretary at the Parish Office ph 905-682-3843. Thank you for visiting the website.

Your pastor,

Father Mathew Pendanathu
